Nishah DiMeo
Nishah DiMeo, with her unique vocal style and seemingly endless range, has been studying, recording, and performing music for over thirty years, spanning genres from alternative to zydeco, though jazz has gradually become her favorite. Born in New Jersey in 1977, she began her studies at the age of 4 at the Freedom Theater in Philadelphia. Her family returned to their roots in Greensboro, NC, in 1988, where she continued her arts education through dance, theater, piano, flute, choirs, and private classical voice training. Since she was 18, she has recorded and performed on stages across the country with numerous artists, competing in and winning Battles of the Bands, headlining shows, and opening for international artists like The English Beat,…
